A little about ourselves

The YPAS Women's Choir is comprised of students in grades 9-12 in the Vocal music program, musical theatre program, Manual MST, and Manual HSU magnets. The Women's choir seeks to perform the highest quality repertoire for equal voice choirs. There is also an emphasis on performing music written by female composers and music composed by classical composers specifically for SSAA ensembles.  

In 2014 the Women's Choir performed at the WUOL Holiday Choral Festival and were rebroadcast on 90.5 over the Holiday season. To hear the performance click here. 

The Women's Choir has received distinguished ratings in each of the past five years' KMEA District Festival and in the past four KMEA State Choral festivals.
